Living Martyr Ministries

Living Martyr Ministries exists to bring the church of today back to the passion, purity and power of the early church!

Who:

Matthew Wright has been involved in ministry since he received his call to preach at 12 years old. He graduated from the Evangelism and Missions program at World Harvest Bible College (now Valor Christian College) in 2004 and in 2006 he completed the Discipleship Training School (DTS) with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) in Hurlach Germany. After completing his DTS he stayed on as a full time missionary with YWAM for three more years before meeting his wife and moving with her back home to the states. Since returning home he served as a youth and associate pastor for Connection Church in Oregon City for five years and then was led to move, with his family, across the country to Virginia. In Virginia God led him to Move Church where he served as the Director of Administration and Small Groups. 

Where:

Living Martyr Ministries is currently based in Northern Virginia but is called to the global church regardless of country, denomination, or setting.

How:

Living Martyr Ministries is called to equip and train ministers. This will be done through outreach, teaching, and discipleship. Some specific ways that God is using Living Martyr Ministries are as follows:

1. Teaching - Matthew is teaching a regular discipleship group at his home church, Move Church. 
2. Writing - Thoughts of a Living Martyr is a blog that is updated periodically and has  been in existence since 2010. Also Matthew's books The Authority of the Church and Christian Thoughts on the Hebrew Shema are on sale on Amazon both as an e-book and in print. Check out Matthew's author page and follow for notification of upcoming content.
3. Small Groups - Matthew directs the small groups ministry at Move Church and personally leads several small groups while also overseeing the Small Group Leaders and ministry coordinators.
4. Partnerships - Matthew has partnerships literally all over the world; including missionaries, ministries, and churches that they pray for and support in any way they can.
5. Service - Living Martyr Ministries lives to serve the Body of Christ through serving individuals and the local church.
