That Easter Kind of Life

It's Easter and it is the time to remember what Jesus Christ did for us on the cross and, more importantly, how He conquered death by raising from the dead. Jesus paints a clear picture of the life that He is providing for us through this act of sacrifice and triumph. He is providing for us a life of freedom from sin, sickness and fear. We no longer have to be bound by these things. Jesus gives us a clear picture that it is the thief who comes to "steal, kill and destroy". Let us remember the abundant life that He has provided for us this Easter season and let us do our part to not let His death and resurrection to have been in vain. It is time for us to make the decision to live the abundant life! Don't allow the thief to steal from you or to kill your joy or destroy your peace. This Easter let us rejoice in the life that Christ has given to us! Meditate on these scriptures and experience that Easter kind of life.

"The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly." John 10:10

“I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.” Galatians 2:20

"But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you." Romans 8:11

"Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed." Isaiah 53:4-5
